Liverpool Street Station
A sculpture commemorating 10,000 Jewish children who arrived via the Kindertransport from Nazi Germany and other parts of Nazi occupied Europe was recently launched outside the station where many first arrived. The sculpture consists of a giant glass suitcase containing artefacts that some of the children brought with them to England in their own suitcase.
