Our Vision

We believe that all children are of equal worth, wherever and in whatever circumstances they were born.
We believe that all children have an equal right for their innate abilities, talents, hopes and potential for achievement to be nurtured.
We believe that all children have an equal right to enjoy their childhood.
We recognise that some or all of these rights have been or are denied to refugees and we aim in our project to address, as far as we are able, this removal of human rights.
We believe that refugee children and adults have much to teach our community, and bring with them talents and strengths that, if appreciated and encouraged, enrich our society.
Our core purpose is to support and supplement the education and welfare of those pupils of Salusbury Primary School who are from asylum seeker or refugee backgrounds. Recognising that children's family circumstances are of crucial importance to their ability to benefit from their educational opportunities, we also provide support to refugee parents. We are pledged to help other institutions in similar situations by acting as a model of good practice.
